Everyone always raves about this chip shop, and every time I give it a go I 'm disappointed. chips served very fast are brown and overcooked, staff member give you looks, remined me of 'The League of Gentlemen ' TV show. local shop for local people.. if you get what I mean. Best fish and chip shop in Faversham and always excellent value for money given that the portion sizes are huge. Ossies has been around for years, it is clean with little or no smell of cooking oil hanging around in the air whilst you wait for your order to be prepared. Other than the quality of the fish (and chips) , the staff too are genuinely friendly, so all in all a great eating experience! Parking: Parking is difficult in Faversham as street parking is limited to 30 minutes only. There are a couple of paid parking lots in town just a couple of minutes walk away . There is also free street parking in the area but only after 5.30 pm. Kid-friendliness: Clearly the staff love kids , it shows when they hand out extra chips to the young ones accompanying their parents into the shop. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to access from Preston High Street.
