The Forge Handcrafted Pizza - Oakland

My husband and I ate at The Forge prior to seeing Sheila E. at Yoshi's last night. Daniel was our server. He was such a nice guy. Our salads, drinks and dessert were so tasty! We decided this is our go-to restaurant prior to seeing a Yoshi's show. Great food, service and ambiance. Give it a try!

Pizza, appetizers and atmosphere are good. Bad service.

At first, I gave them 4 stars and said the pizza was really good. Since it’s the next day and I’m still thinking about it, I’ve modified my review giving them 5 stars. I found their pizza excellent.

Good thin crust pizza and a great selection of drinks at the bar. Good service and fun atmosphere.

Service was excellent! Very attentive staff. Loved the atmosphere. Food was meh. The brussel sprouts were way too oily like they doused them in olive oil after they finished cooking them. They were also mostly charred leaves not the whole brussel. The meat on the St. Louis style ribs was cooked well, but it was drowned in BBQ sauce. Like an unappetizing amount. I highly recommend they serve the sauce on the side instead.
