Bidrage med feedbackThis is my favorite Chinese food restaurant in Oakland. They have an extensive menu including many vegetarian options. Open later than you would think. Good prices. Win win
For many years customer and can suggest it without delay. Eating is not tasty, but it is tasteful and honest in size. the decoration and food presentation of the restaurant could be improved, but again taste will not pay attention to them too long. I usually order 3 items that last 2 days and feed two. menu is extensive to choose a lot. it is open before midnight, so many people come for a late / previous meal after going out. they also order for collection or delivery. parking during the day is a challenge as it is located in the heart of oakland chinatown. one of my favorite restaurants.
Just came here for a quick lunch as we were just visiting the area. I didn’t realise how expensive everything is. A plate of roast pork rice was about $16…wow. A plate like this would be about $5 in Singapore. Albeit smaller in portion. American size portions is really really bigger than anywhere else in the world.
Decent. Nothing especially good or bad. Flavors were good but not amazing. Prices are high but the portions are large to match. I liked the food but I guess when I ordered beef chow mein with vegetables I expected more than a few uncut bok choy leaves as vegetables . If this place tightened up its game, it could be a solid 4 star.
We were travel to Northern California. Went to Oakland at 8.30pm. We want Asian food. Find Chinatown. Many stores and restaurants in Chinatown are closed. Saw a restaurant with an open sign still open. We entered the restaurant and saw it was not busy. They write that the best food is BBQ. We ordered roast duck. Seafood Tofu Claypot and perking pork chops . Roast duck is very greasy. Perking pork chops are sour. Seafood pot is ok.
