Ilava Hawaiian Barbecue - Oakland

I was slightly disappointed by the small variety of entrees available, but the ability to customize and the high quality of the meal more than made up for it. These Hawaiian short ribs were possibly the most tender I've ever had. Overall, it was a fantastic value for the price we paid.

I ordered from this restaurant for the first time and everything was fantastic. The macaroni salad was creamy and delicious, the chicken katsu was tasty, and the barbecue chicken was great too. I will definitely be ordering from this place again in the future!

I love Hawaiian food, and this restaurant is one of the best in terms of quality. I ordered the loco moco and was impressed with the size of the patties. The spam musubi was also delicious. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

By far, one of the BEST take-aways I have ever had. The teriyaki shrimp bowl, with lovely cooked vegetables and a good serving of shrimp. Fantastic. But the Spam musubi? Thats what did me in. So crispy, with the rice and Spam cooked to perfection. Absolutely sensational. The portions are very generous, enough to save for a second lunch, but had it all in one sitting because it was so darn delicious! Hahaaa. While it was my first time, it 100% will not be the last. Go on, order from here. Just do it.

Food is decent. I asked for all veggies on my 2 bbq dish and they indeed gave me all veggies:just broccoli and cabbage. Id prefer there be more variety of veggies (like carrots and and some onions perhaps)
