Baggy's By The Lake - Oakland

The line is out the door but it moves pretty fast. They're best known for their bacon wrapped hot dogs so I was pretty excited to try their flaming dog and their flaming corn. I also ordered a side of their filthy fries which was a concoction of several sauces and cheese drowning the fries.

Chill dive bar next to CVS in Lucky's and hot wings and out of the closet and I believe there's a Bank of America right there or chase

Haven’t been in for a while. Under new ownership. Amoy(? greeted me with a charming smile and made me feel right at home. Good ambiance and access from central Oakland. I recommend them highly.

After being closed for 453 days, they are finally back open! The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the owners are incredibly friendly. Plus, the prices are very reasonable.

Great neighborhood bar! It has a wonderfully diverse crowd in terms of age, race, ethnicity, and social class. It's like the "Cheers" of Merritt Lake, and the staff is fantastic. I just had a conversation with one of the bartenders who asked me where I had been since it seemed like I hadn’t visited in a while. They really know their customers well. It’s a place that always brings a smile!
