Makara - Oakdale

On our way back from Yosemite and we heard about this place (Mom and Pop Shop) in Escalon for their food. So we stopped and never regret it. We ordered their Beef Teriyaki over Rice, Miso Soup, the Makara Sushi San Francisco Rolls. That was the best dinner ever. We ate the sushi in its natural state, without soy sauce or Wasabi, because it didn't need it. Beef Teriyaki was tender and the rice was perfect. Give this place a try, you won't regret it. So next time we go, we hope he gets his alcohol license by then.
