Bidrage med feedbackI wish McDonald's in Wigston would lower the air conditioning. The food is never very warm to begin with, and with the air conditioning blowing out freezing cold air, it feels like a race against time to finish your meal. It was not a pleasant experience, and I had to take a hot bath when I got home to warm up.
This McDonald's is the worst. Save yourself the disappointment and drive a few extra miles to Fosse Park instead. They can't cook fries properly, frequently mess up orders, and forget to include sauces. It's a complete embarrassment - McDonald's should consider closing this store down.
I ordered 3 sandwich meals and 1 burger on its own. When I drove around I decided to add 3 x apple pies and I paid for these on my mastercard. As my filet burger was taking longer I was asked to wait at the next window. On receipt of the food I drove off to head 4 miles home (15 minutes) Half way through my journey driving home, I parked up to the side as I thought of checking my order, as this branch is always making mistakes on my order, and then realised that the Apple pies were not in my bag and I called the branch immediately. I was shocked at the level of empathy and customer service by the female branch manager who did not have any emotion and just treated me like another complainer. At first asking if I could go back and then asking where I lived as they could deliver, then telling me that she would mark me in the book for the next time I came in. I had to question how I was being reassured. This was being recorded. After this prompt the manager decided to give me a reference number. The disappointment was the tone of voice, the common courtesy of an apology would have been nice, hiding something from not giving me her name as a reference as I understand there is more than one manager at the branch. This branch has got my order wrong, majority of the time I have been to visit and this experience is so much tolerable until someone is rude/abrupt. It has happened to me most times I go through the drive thru but I have no choice as it is the closest one to where I live and my daughter loves McDonalds. Staff are not really checking to make sure orders have been bagged correctly before handing over, meaning they are insufficiently trained to do the job right. I am looking to see how McDonalds are planning to put this right as I have to go out my way to visit the Branch again for goods I have not received after payment Show less
The food at Wakes Road is cold, old, and disgusting. Cooking a burger should be simple, but the staff here can't even manage that. This place needs all the staff replaced and should be shut down.
We used the drive through facility this Sunday and ordered our meal. The waitress re checked our order. We were told to park in the Bay. Over a period of 30 minutes our order was mixed up 3 times. Despite a number of employees coming out to apologies and promise to get it right they didn’t!! For all the stress and confusion one member of staff promised to refund our money and give us our meal value approx £12 on the house! Finally the manager came out to tell us our meal was on the way. We told him that his colleague was going to refund our money due to all the problems to which the manager promptly replied he wasn’t prepared to do this. Either we cancel the order and get our money back or we pay! We haven’t come across this level of arrogance or bad customer care for a very long time especially in a manager! We asked the manager for his name he said it was Gurvir not sure he gave his right name) . We told him we were appalled. He just stood there totally oblivious of the stress and time wastage caused. We said we didn’t want his food and to give us our money back! While he went to get it another waitress came out with ‘yes’ another incorrect order!! We said we wanted our money! We asked her for the managers name and she said company policy didn’t allow her to give the managers name as staff had got into trouble doing this in the past. The manager clearly does not understand good business. He’d rather throw away an order than win customers!! McDonald’s don’t you care about your customers?
