Pie Lady Son - NYACK

Great place for homemade cakes. Large combinations and seasonal flavors only all the time. Basics apple cake is always available, but I would recommend getting seasonal flavors. A favorite is plums when available. Coffee is not worth it here, but nice to have a cup of coffee with cake when you sit down to enjoy it. It's not bad enough that I knock a star, but you don't come here to get the coffee, so don't worry.

Was on a bike tour from the city and held here for a break. Delicious cakes but on the expensive side.

Great cakes, cookies, muffins... basically everything here is amazing. People are beautiful and you get a beautiful old timely experience with your food, it is a wonderfully baked business. It's always my first stop for special occasions if I don't want to bake myself!

Ok I'm from Los Angeles where like everything else a piece of REAL PIE is a fantasy. So... where I lived most of my life, I had to perfect my own homemade cake. Apple Crumb is my top in the house taste. When I moved to Nyack last August, all the locals convinced me to try Pie Lady Son. It is located right in this picturesque city on Main Street. It comes in the second line to my house craftsman pastries, but the plus is, I don't have to bake time or money in the cakes. Some here say "expensive". I don't agree. The discs are plentiful and you can make it a La mode for under $10. The ice cream is local and very tasty and the coffee is exceptional. The hours are great. The helpful and very friendly and efficient. Especially Abbie Lucie! Never a long crazy line!!! And they will heat it up without additional costs. I recommend driving or cycling even miles if you are in the area for a rewarding slice of mother's cake. The Crumb topping fruitcakes are my “go to” seasonal pumpkin deserves a sampling!! Believe me I've experienced these Great American treats is worth more than $10. It is in my opinion a PRICELESS pane of love

I've only had the muffins here, but would love to sample their pies as they look awesome. Unfortunately, I can't carry a pie on my bike back to Brooklyn. The muffins are some of the best I've ever had. Wonderful texture and you can taste all the ingredients that went into it. The strawberry rhubarb muffin is out of this world!
