What a great place! Metal plates and unforgettable atmosphere. The food was uniquely german and tasted delicious.

The informality and setting are much fun, and you will likely find yourself seated family style with other people. The service is slow as the waitstaff is often socializing with diners. That said, the food is traditional and very well done. They do pork shoulder better than anywhere else, but be warned, it's probably a good idea to skip breakfast and lunch the day you go, and plan on the same for the next day.

The worst experience of my life, to be stolen right on my face. We decided to visit this restaurant because of the reviews and because we wanted to taste their famous wurst. We ordered a beer and one dish with 6 wursts, just to taste them. We ate, and by the way the food isn’t amazing, and we asked for the bill. Our waitress which was extremely upset because we ordered one dish brought us the bill with 30 euros, when it was supposed to be 15: . I asked her why 30 and she started speak german with us so we don't understand , despite the fact that she knew English because we communicated only in English before. She started yelling at us even we were right. We started explaining that we are supposed to pay only 15 when she “realised” she was wrong. She said sorry only once, and she gave us 15 euro back. But she decided that’s not right. She took the 5 euro from my hand and gave back 4 euros in coins. Even if she had to return us 15 euros and some coins. So, i don’t recommend either the restaurant or the waitress, Claudia.

The sausages were so delicious the smoked flavor it’s so unique. You can sit down and have your meal there or you can just walk out with sausages on a bread! I recommend stopping by and have a little taste. Our waiter even spoke Portuguese with us and gave us an excellent service.

Very central location and therefore very popular with tourists. the classic frankfurter nothing special. the white beer is excellent. friendly staff. without lob or cannon
