Ingo Fischer's restaurant is one of the better restaurants in Nuremberg. Although no Gault Millau hoods or Michelin stars, but also priceable and the quality was in any case above average good. Michelin gives the restaurant 2 (of 5 best corners for the ambience and service. The greeting was friendly and reluctant and so the service continued throughout the evening. The restaurant is located in a 16th century workshop. It's more like an apartment than a restaurant. To the ground floor you have to go down a few steps, so unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. It is very tasteful and modern down here. A large open kitchen and before that 2 tables with benches and chairs. I was confused when we were led over a relatively narrow and steep staircase to the 1st floor. Too bad I would have liked it much better downstairs. Up there are 4 tables and with ours all have been occupied. Although it wasn't even summer, it was almost unbearably hot there. After a certain time, we got used to it all six. The ambience above can be called original. I'm sure he'll find his lovers, but for example the basket chairs didn't tell me. Thanks to the pillows but quite comfortable. After a refreshment drink we then chose 3x lake and 3x land menu (each 59€, in the meantime 62 € with each 4 courses (plus Amuse-Bouche/Gueule in advance and Sorbet in front of the main course. In addition, it is also more harmonious when all at the table get the same number of courses. The food was really excellent. Finely matched ingredients and good combinations. With a few passages, a small little bit more peep would have been great, e.g. the Pulpo salad. But there really was only a nuance. The portion sizes were just right. I think we've all expected and feared much smaller portions. The presentation, especially at the main course, could have been more appealing. In the wine I had a Rioja in my eye and was lucky to inspire the other winemakers. A very good choice as it had turned out. A special recommendation is given by the mussels and the beef fillet. Absolutely perfect I was also surprised by the white chocolate ice cream, which gave it to the cream Brulée. This is usually not my thing, but it was super creamy and sweet. I found the waiting times between the corridors exactly right! Overall it was approx. 85€ (menu, water and wine and we have not regretted a cent, because in total we enjoyed it very well and tasted and we would go back here, but then reserve it in time for us to sit down.

From our point of view, a detour is completely recommended there.The services are very friendly and very binding every time. This makes me enjoy every visit.The inn is actually very tasteful. No cheap decoration, but it was most beautifully adapted to each other in color.I usually didn't want to share the dessert with my friend anymore. We all learned something from it and will order a dessert next time per person.
The food was wonderful. Great wine, friendly service and beautiful ambience. We like to come back. :
