Karstadt Lebensmittel - Nürnberg

I went there looking for something and besides the lack of personnel also the lack of knowledge from them, nobody would tell me where I could find what I was looking for. They should train their personnel.

We lived in Germany until 2007 and the Fish Dining Counter in the Karstadt was a favorite place to eat....counter and all. The fish soup is one of their main popular offerings and it is full of fish and shrimp in a nice broth. The clientele is usually jovial ... fortunately it has not changed in the past 12 years. Highly recommend...

This is a self service restaurant inside one of the best department store chains in Germany. It's edge is that the food is all cooked fresh and for the majority of the meals you watch them cooking it to order for you. You can even see the chefs making the fancy patisserie items behind clear screens! I personally found that fascinating and the chefs are very skilled. They offer many types of cuisine from traditional German meal to Oriental. They also offer a wide range of drinks to accompany your meal. It is also fantastic value for money you can have a top quality main meal for around 8 Euros, and the desserts begin at around 2 Euros. I am yet to try something from here that I didn't like! As it is self service when you have finished you need to take your tray to the conveyer belt on the way out of the restaurant so that the table can be used by others.

After some searches we found the store below in the underground access passage. A not too big Asia shop in which there is everything that makes the Asian heart beat faster. The selection is enormous, if you just go shopping in like this, you are simply overwhelmed to buy something you don't really need. We also took more than we needed. The store is clean and tidy. The employees couldn't get away from the crowds of customers as if they were used to the hustle. It is good to reach by metro, also on foot very centrally located but as already said, if you don't know where the shop is, you're looking for a wolf.
