Bidrage med feedbackWe had a birthday dinner at restaurant de la vieille tour. we initially booked because it was one of the few restaurants that were open on a Monday that had an outside area, and that was a happy choice. the service was excellent and the food...delicious an additional bonus was the fact that the set menu, at only 25€ per person, not including wein, was seriously inexpensive. we will certainly go back. when they decide to go to this beautiful restaurant. an hour early so they can enjoy a walk around this really beautiful village.
Many restaurants have been closed in the fairy for holidays in Noyers-sur-Surein, but we found this pure jewel of a restaurant. the atmosphere is relaxed. the owner/competitioner is welcoming but not in vain. he leads the restaurant like a clockwork. he also made an excellent recommendation for wine...and food games when he put cointreau on ice with the Clementine-based dessert. he was on the spot! the highlight of the meal was the main course of blanquette de veau, a court that I have loved since 1970 in France. that was the best blush I ever tasted! the meat was portions of calf meat including the juice, the sauce was full of taste, the rice tasty and the sweet exactly right. I loved it!
Wonderful meal, many great specialties of the day. owners and waiters are helpful and have great suggestions. price very reasonable. we were so impressed that we booked to return the next night for our jubilee. we had pork, Guinea-Fowl in the first night, bark meat and pork in the second night. the desserts, especially the chocolate, was to die!
Very nice restaurant with local Food wird the Little extra-twist. Great wine recommandation and very nice Service. To top IT all off: When we were there there was some live guitar Music, unobstrutive but very atmospheric. Absolutely a restaurant to make a detour for.
A very pretty restaurant by the fortified gate to the town. It was too cold (pity) to eat outside in the courtyard but the restaurant has a pleasant, charming atmosphere. The food was all home cooked and presented in an unfussy manor. A small menu...and very well priced, good value. We really enjoyed the roasted fennel turnover, mildly spicy chickpea soup, bavette steak and black rice risotto. Puds were delicious too; chocolate fondant , excellent ginger cake (gluten free) and floating islands. Service quirky, slightly eccentric but that just adds to the fun of the evening. Looking forward to going back!
