The Fox - Nottingham

Struggled to walk down to The Fox as I've been unwell but wanted to get out of the house for a bit with my adult son. Got there at 2pm to be told that lunch stops at 2 so they weren't serving. Sign outside said 3. Online said 3. Dead on 2pm closed for food. Wholly disappointing. At least change it online or on the signage if lunch is 12-2.

Not being before, helpful bar server , one of us had fish chips and mushy peas. The other cheese and ham melt. Both were delicious , fresh and piping hot . Thank you for your hospitality.

The food at The Fox is fantastic, we have visited a few times for their Sunday roast and it is delicious. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are friendly.

Had a fantastic day despite the less than ideal weather. The hosts were incredible and the restaurant was very family-friendly. I highly recommend it. The food was amazing. Perfect spot for a bank holiday weekend.
