Saagar Tandoori - Nottingham

Warning: This restaurant is a scam. I placed an online order and paid for it, with the expectation that it would arrive in 30 minutes. After waiting for an hour and checking on the status of my food, I received a message saying that the order was cancelled and that I wouldn't be refunded for 5 days. I contacted the ordering company, which explained that this sometimes happens when they are too busy to fulfill orders. When I visited the restaurant, I found that it was closed for renovation, despite a sign claiming they were available for takeout during the renovation. The website also stated that they were open. This behavior is unacceptable.

I ordered a set meal for delivery and it was terrible. Each of the two main dishes had only 4 pieces of meat. The sauce tasted diluted and the rice was cold. The meal cost £33. I was very disappointed and expected better from a restaurant with a long history.

I am unable to rate the food as when we arrived for our reservation that was made 3 months in advance, we found the restaurant was closed with no notice on the door. After calling, we were informed that they were undergoing a renovation. It was disappointing that they did not take the time to notify customers with bookings.

Saagar was the place to go in the 90's and earn 2000. Just had a delivery and was so poor. Very disappointing

THE most SHOCKING food delivery service. I had food delivered here and requested in my note to be delivered to the door as I am disabled. Got a ruthless call from someone from the restaurant demanding I come and collect my food. I explained I had a disability and couldn't come down therefore cancel it. I was told that if I couldn't come down to collect it that I'd still be charged. I then asked for an email address to complain and I was give a DISGUSTING email address which was clearly fake and a DISGUSTING name to send the email too. How unprofessional and shocking. I'd never order from here again.
