Chiquito - Nottingham

I came here a few months ago and I had the most balanced salad I have ever tried in my entire life. It was sweet, sour, salty, crunchy and fresh. The roasted veggies added this warmth and toasty flavour that rounded everything out. It was delicious. I still think about it here and there. I compare every salad I have to the one from Chiquito. It wasn't just lettuce and a couple of pieces of cheese. It was a masterpiece of every colour of the rainbow and aromas that were a complete delight. I am not exaggerating, I was completely silent the whole meal because I was just savouring it, enjoying every bite. I felt like the critic from Ratatouille. I looked forward to visiting again, but I just learned they closed permanently. I'm beyond devastated because this salad was literally everything I have ever wanted in a dish and I am almost brought to tears I will never have this salad ever again.

We used to frequent this restaurant often when we lived nearby, but due to Covid and becoming parents, we haven't had the chance to visit until recently. We were pleased to see that not much had changed during our absence, and even the server, Charlotte, was the same lovely lady who had served us 2-3 years ago. The food was delicious as always, and Charlotte was an excellent member of staff. The Loaded Nachos, although labeled as a starter, were huge and very satisfying. The Burrito was a fantastic main course that I would recommend. Despite not being very adventurous with food, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I'm happy to see that this branch has managed to survive while others have not been as fortunate. The location on the outskirts of town likely contributes to its success, but the quality of the food and service is what sets this place apart. I highly recommend giving Chiquito a try.

The food and service at this restaurant are excellent! The place is also very clean. This is one of my favorite chain restaurants, so if I ever find myself back in Nottingham, I will definitely return. I give the waitress a perfect 10/10 rating.

I visted with a few friends for a celebration meal and was served by Emad. We came in September however we lost the receipt and wanted to be sure we wrote his name on a review. He was so lovely and made sure we had the best experience and enjoyed our food. He is a credit to your team. Thank you Emad! Lovely food as always, and I'm glad to see you have brought back jackfruit instead of the banana blossom!
