Skye Bistro - Nottingham Road

What a beautiful place. I booked my weekend away months in advance needing a weekend of relaxation, spoiling myself and quiet. What an experience!! From arrival the staff were attentive, professional and friendly. My room was lovely, the food was out of the world and offered something for everyone. The spa... wow. I was in heaven. Thank you to the ladies for spoiling me and especially Andile for my massage. I felt amazing that floatation pool is lovely. I would recommend Fordoun to anyone wanting a weekend of peace, luxury and pampering.. and good food. Thank you too all the staff.

What an enjoyable stay! We stayed at Fordoun as we were attending a wedding at a location nearby. We had flown from Dubai. We were very happy and delighted with our stay. From the wonderful welcome to the wonderful staff, the little cute rooms (the floor heating was to die for), the rooms were so well stocked with snacks and coffee/tea making facilities, the rooms were cleaned and ready so so so quickly! The food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was phenomenal. I honestly have nothing to fault! We stay in many different hotels when we travel and I will always have a special place in my heart for Fordoun! thank you for the incredible stay!! For anyone looking into staying at Fordoun DO IT! Book now!!!!!

Absolutely lovely all round! Beautiful grounds, exceptionally friendly staff, beautiful scrumptious food and the spa!... to die for especially the flotation pool!!!

What a delightful place. Reminds me of England where I was born with the trees,fields and rolling hills. After my husband died I never thought I would have the pleasure of staying in a 5 star hotel again. Fordoun lives up to every star in every way. It is a star, as are staff and rooms. I will dream of returning .
