Masseria Degli Ulivi - NOTO

A beautiful place in an amazing tranquil setting. We stayed a week but could have stayed much longer. The location is perfect with lots todo and visit in the surrounding area. The Hotel itself is classy and relaxed with perfect facilities. The setting is glorious with room to wonder in the Olive grove or lay by the pool. The staff, without exception went above and beyond, from the manager to the waiters. Special shout-out to Marco whom with his knowledge and kindness made our in-house dinners really special.

It is our 3rd time at this masseria. We love it, the fields are beautiful, the swimming pool is nice, it is close to Noto (10km approx) and to cava grande. The breakfast is ok, not an exhaustive choice but everything is good and with quality. What we regret is the service. At breakfast, nobody came to our table but others were proposed lots of hot beverages, and this went on during all our stay. Once I waited 10 min or more for an expresso (there was nobody else being served) I even thought they had forgotten but when I went to check out they were just talking in the kitchen doing nothing while I waited. I was about to leave when they came, I made a remark that it was not ok to leave me waiting like that but not even an excuse. Also, when leaving, they were not very nice, they didn't even ask if we had enjoyed our stay. Once the credit card was done we were again invisible. It would not cost a lot to be more attentive to your guests. This said, they were not all this inattentive, but it is a pitty to lack on the service like this. The restaurant is fancy but honestly it is too expensive for what you have. We were not impressed, the desert with lemon didn't taste like lemon, the pasta was ok but not that amazing. We have had better. Overall, à good quality for the price but could do better on the service.

I was expecting much more! The restaraunt was lovely,,the service great, the food was just good. I had the burrata in gazpacho,but the burrata was not creamy,but more like mozzarella. The orata (fish , was good quality but the flavor was overpowered by the sauce (a japanese style sauce, which was very good on its own,,but just too strong for the fish . The dessert was very good. It was not a cheap lunch,,we spenti 40a person with no Wine. I would not ho back. I repeat,good food,but I had much better for much less in Sicily.

A beautifully maintained oasis of tranquility. Very comfortable rooms (the mattress and pillows were perfect to ensure a good night’s rest, waking up fully refreshed the following morning). Breakfast choices were abundant and delicious. The sweets were to die for! We ate dinner there every evening. We tasted various, different dishes and everything was outstandingly good. More than adequate choices of good wines. The staff, both at breakfast and, even more so, at dinner were very helpful, welcoming polite and service was prompt. The location is good, allowing one to explore neighboring towns easily if you have your own car. Their car park is very safe and there is a lot of space. A perfect place to reconnect with your own self if you lead a very busy life like us. The surrounding olive grove “calms the nerves”. Definitely, a place we intend to return to.

Vacanza perfetta in un luogo perfetto. Struttura in posizione comoda per fare tappa serale o per rilassarsi in tranquillità a pochi chilometri da molti luoghi di interesse. Ristorante e colazione fantastica. Marco in sala e tutto il personale particolarmente cordiale e disponibile. Rapporto qualità prezzo assolutamente in linea con i servizi forniti. Torneremo.
