Sugar Shack - Norwood

Went here one night for dinner and was impressed by the extensive menu (nearly too much to choose from). I ended up ordering the Shack Stack burger which was great. Very juicy, lots of flavour, only downside is good luck at keeping it all together. I would also recommend ordering the side+ drink as it is a very good size for how much you pay.

When we walked in this just looked like your regular greasy American themed diner. Except they have a full vegan menu with like 15 or so burgers, different kinds of fries, shakes and desserts. Even most of the cabinet treats are vegan!! We had a Hawaiian burger and a vegan bacon avocado burger, complete with vegan fried egg and they were both amazing! I also loved the notzarella sticks with honey mustard sauce. SO GOOD!! We also took home a wagon wheel, choc cookie sandwich and a bag of vegan melting moments. Spent way more than we intended to lol but the food is really great. The kind of fast food that even non vegans would enjoy. Not that they need to though because they have a full Omni menu as well!

Cupcakes!!! Love the Strawberry cheesecake and the malteaser and my fave is the new york one with the mini cinnamon donut on top. Can't say I've tried the hot foods- burgers, hotdogs such, but I will travel here when I'm need of cupcakes they are oh so fresh and deelish I want 2try all the flavours. Yumbers!

Have you ever wanted to go somewhere that was completely bad for you, but also the BEST for you?!<br/ <br/ American Cupcake Diner is that place!<br/ <br/ BURGERS, HOTDOGS, CAKES, CONDIMENTS, CHOCOLATE, CUPCAKES, CHIPS, BEN JERRYS ICE CREAM!!!  All within what seems to be 3m2. <br/ <br/ This place is tiny, and crams so much into so little.  The menu is the same.  There is an option for every kind of greasy or sweet food ever AND extra 'specials ' on the door.   They sell American candy, icecreams, condiments and drinks. <br/ <br/ I 've eaten there a few times, sometimes for a hotdog, others just for a sweet treat or a milkshake.  Can I say I 've enjoyed it every time.  I don 't always enjoy sitting 'in ' because it is so small cramped, but the food is delicious and SO BAD for you.<br/ <br/ Enjoy for a guilty day of not giving a rats about what others think of you.  Which I think is healthy for you. PARADOX?!

Very unpretentious food. If you want greasy, fatty, delicious American food this is the place to be. Filling and tasty. Not for anyone on a diet. The burgers and chilli fries are very much recommended. Milkshakes and hot dogs were good but not amazing. They also sell Mexican coke (made from 100% cane sugar, no HFCS), which is cool.
