Bidrage med feedbackJust wanted to warn others about this overpriced, mismanaged business on The Parade in Norwood. Pretty much everything they are selling you can buy at least cheaper elsewhere. The worst part though is that they advertise cooking classes for and nowhere on their website does it say that THESE ARE NOT ACTUALLY COOKING CLASSES WHERE YOU GET TO COOK! All you do is sit and watch someone else cook and then eat the food. Everyone is crowded into a tiny space and each child sized table has people crammed around it. It's uncomfortable to say the least and the room is freezing unless they have the heater on which is a single heater placed in the middle of the ceiling and if you are unlucky enough to be sitting under it your head gets burnt. Don't bother buying a gift certificate either because even though nowhere does it state that you can't use it for cooking classes or online purchases they will not allow you to use it for either of these things and even though my gift certificate was only issued in February and was only valid until June when I requested for it to be extended for a few months the owner refused. Oh and forget talking to the young girls who work there if there is a discrepancy with pricing or anything other than purchasing an item... they are lovely and very helpful, but when it comes to any decision making their hands are tied as they have to check with the manager who is also useless in this area because she doesn't have the ability to make any decisions either without talking to the owner who has clearly always lived with a silver spoon in her mouth and is so far removed from the reality most of us live in that she doesn't know what good customer service is. Buy from here at your own risk... every single time you will pretty much see the item you have bought elsewhere for much, much cheaper.
Great for homewares. Skip the coffee, it was awful. Expected more. Very disappointed. Perhaps it was early days but not inclined to chance it again.
This place is SO Norwood! Sarah nailed it when she wrote "rich older ladies shopping for over expensive home things that don't serve a particular
This is one of the cutest little gifty type shops I have ever seen.
