Zaks Poringland - Norwich

As always food was amazing! Our server was very friendly, but we were never checked and had to call someone if we wanted something extra. Drinks took a long time. I think it was either too busy for the amount of staff. Or the 3 employees were at the door to chat, would have jumped in and helped when it had to do. It seemed to be only 1 maybe 2 people on our side and most tables were filled with full parties.

Wings Starter super. Too much Bbq sauce on the ribs. Exaggerates the taste of the meat. One of the burgers was cold and dry and had to send back cold onion rings that camouflaged the experience after a great start. Attention to detail and serve what you want to serve your family.

Arrived at 5.15 as booked. Waited for drinks to arrive for 20mins, ordered food. Starters didn't arrive until 6pm after enquiring how long they would be. Mains arrived at 6.30, again having to ask where they were! Overall i was very disappointed with length of time it took for food to arrive. After complaining about delays we were offered free drinks. I don not think i would book at Poringland again.
