I ordered for a chicken dumplings over the phone, but delivered vegetable dumplings. I complained by phone for the wrong order, but the staff did not understand. She was argumentative. Did not resolve the issue.
We have been ordering from Yuan Feng, our local Chinese restaurant, for just over 2 years now. We always enjoy delicious meals from this place, and the delivery to our house is always very fast. The delivery drivers are courteous, and we honestly cannot find any faults with this place. It is the best restaurant in town!
Although the food was delivered quickly, we were missing part of the meal! I called them straight away to let them know they said they would call the driver, so I assumed it would be delivered shortly and dished out our food. 20 minutes went by, we finished what we had so I called them again, to see if the rest was on its way, the man I spoke to asked me to hang on I heard him speak to someone in the background (wasn't in English so unsure of what was said but I assume he was just chasing up my query and honestly her reaction was insane! The lady screamed at him so loudly that my partner heard it from across the room, and I didnt have them on loudspeaker, it was just that loud! He then said they were waiting for a driver to deliver it to us and apologised for our wait. I wasn't exactly happy but I wasn't about to give him a hard time after hearing that. 35 mins go by it's been an hour since our food was delivered. I called up (for the 3rd time! to see if our food was on its way yet, they said it wasn't so I told them not to bother sending it out as there was no point, we'd finished eating for a while by this time and I just wanted to put my son to bed without someone knocking on the door and waking him up because honestly, who knows what time they were planning on showing up. The response was they would refund the missing item but honestly I feel like that wasn't good enough as our experience was terrible. If they were too busy to want to deliver the rest of our food, then just say so, don't say you are going to deliver it not bother. After the first phone call, it should have been sent out immediately, I shouldn't need to call 3 times over the course of an hour still not get my food. Really disappointed with how we were treated but even more by how they treated their own staff, to scream at him like that knowing we were on the phone was incredibly unprofessional and no-one should be treated like that. Will not be ordering from here again!!
Absolute jokers, I’m never one to write a bad review but wow how rude. After paying for and waiting for my takeaway I thought I’d call up to see how long it would be. Well I know we are in unfortunate times at the mo but to say you haven’t got my order, although it’s paid for and being cooked apparently and then to be told they are not delivering to my area, we share the same postcode. Then to say that I’ll be refunded soon and then had the audacity to hang up and not refund me over the phone well thanks for your great customer service won’t be buying from you again.
