Bowling House - Norwich

Visited on a Saturday afternoon with two under fives for bowling and lunch, had a lovely time, staff were friendly and helpful, food was great and will definitely be back.

Our experience here was really mixed. When we arrived we were told where to find out table and given menus. There’s a QR code on the table to order but it didn’t work and no member of staff came over to take our order/check in. Eventually after quite a while waiting, I got up to ask a member of staff. The food was good and filling, luckily we didn’t have to wait for too long for our food to arrive. We’d also booked into bowling after our meal (which is free when you order a main meal over the weekend) but unfortunately it hadn’t been put through the system which meant we had to wait for a while for a lane to become available. The staff were friendly though. The Bowling House is a great idea, especially when there’s a group of you/a couple and you want a good night out/looking for something fun to do. There were just a few things that needed tweaking to improve our experience.

What a surprise this place is. Lovely retro bowling. Great service. Superb food. Homemade nachos and the loaded fries were exceptional. We will return for sure.

The most amazing service, food and atmosphere. Every time I’ve been here I’ve been overwhelmed by the service and friendliness of employees. The food is phenomenal and the ambience is exceptional. Highly recommend not just a bowling house, but an excellent restaurant and bar.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely evening at The Bowling House tonight. Really tasty cocktails and delicious food. The chicken and ribs being particularly good. Friendly staff and me great prices. The outside space has heaters so very cosy too. A big thumbs up from us
