Dixie Donuts - Norwich

When I arrived, there was already three other cars in the parking lot and a mix of older and younger people. I'm glad I got in when I did on a Saturday before 8 o'clock. Because it soon as I got in there begin to have a crowd of people that came in. So get there before 8 AM to miss the crowd. I chose quite a few of their different donuts. It looked interesting. Heading home to try them out. They also have delicious coffee. I got home and the coconut cream donuts were the best out of everything that I got. Definitely recommend those for anybody that likes coconut.

This little doughnut shop appears to be well loved by their regulars. I witnessed lovely exchanges between some of them. We received lukewarm service the morning we stopped by. The pros were the doughnuts appear to be made fresh and were good. The cons were that our rolls on our breakfast sandwiches were burnt. Even one of the other well known customers commented to the staff when he walked in, what are you guys burning? Little did we know that it was the inside of our rolls. It 's a simple mistake that could have been easily remedied.

Staff is always incredibly friendly and service is quick! Donuts are beyond delicious and keep us coming back!
