The Samson Inn - Northumberland

After a long day of hiking along Hadrian's Wall, a good beer is absolutely mandatory. If you're a walker, this is a fantastic hike in the Northern British counties of Cumbria and Northumberland. Stayed at this B&B in Oct 2022 when walking the HWP. Lovely, spacious room upstairs and dinner at the pub downstairs.

Had a warm welcome. The food was delicious and looked as good as it tasted

This was a fantastic pub the staff was friendly but it was the last day it would be open a great shame someone needs to buy it??

Very friendly and professional staff made us feel most welcomed after our long walk along Hadrians Wall. Well stocked bar with a good selection of real ales. The menu is varied and the dinner was very tasty. Our room for the night was clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast we enjoyed and it set us up for another days walking. I would definitely recommend this pub.
