Bidrage med feedbackHad a fab meal here on Saturday tea time. Can't fault the food or the service. The interior of the restaurant is also very nice.
We have used Solomons for fifteen to twenty years but after our recent experiences of their takeaway meals we are going elsewhere. Over the last couple of years (post lockdown) we have felt that there has been less and less meat in their dishes and the last straw was ordering a meal on 30 June 2023 for ourselves and another couple. The starter (tandoori king prawns) was hugely overpriced for what it was; there was very little meat or fish in the main courses. We were so disappointed that we called in the next afternoon to complain. We were assured by the manager that he would contact his area manager and that he would get in touch with us. We heard nothing so I rang again and spoke to the same manager ten days later. He apologised and told me he would contact the area manager again but that he himself couldn’t offer us a refund or any other compensation. Sadly we have heard nothing since. This is very poor customer service to say the least. We have found in recent years that there has been less and less meat and fish in all of our menus and we have now decided to go elsewhere from now on after this particularly disappointing experience.
Ordered a take away. Waited two hours for delivery. Had to ring up twice, got a cold meal and a warm can of coke.
Ordered delivery at 9.40, called 10,40 to ask if food on way, phone call ignored even though restaurant open until 11.00, took payment of £30,50 by card and no food
Food was lovely, Service was good the only disappointing side was a large group very loud and was off putting while eating so had to leave however I made Malik the owner aware and he was very sincere and apologetic he tried to offer and do everything he could to make up for it which ultimately wasn’t his fault Based on the experience and way it was handled I would recommend and return to this restaurant as the food and service was good
