Maharaj Indian Grill - Northbrook

We live in wheeling and the Indian food centers here are great. we thought we were coming to this place in northbrook, as there were nice reviews, but I would not recommend coming here. eating is very mediocre. Typically the biryani comes with a small complementary raita, but we wanted extra, because the small isn't enough. when buying an extra, not only the complementary, but the $4 extra raita was half full and just a little over the size we could have free. also the food does not include rice (in contrast to many other places where it contains) so that they have to pay for it!

Excellent service, great tasting and everything at a reasonable price. so many flavors that I stuck with water tonight because I wanted nothing to come between my taste shops and their food. you will see big families, couples on a date night, and I and some kumpels who were friends forever. it is so inviting place and if I have written an excellent service, I mean that these people really care about their culinary experience.

Eating was great and the service amazing. my son cannot tolerate spicy spears and they did everything to suggest him something good. I will go back

I was here twice, both paintings with a big group, and I never had such wonderful service and eating. the personal is friendly and very generous, they are quick to help with any problem, often before we noticed that it was one! our server even brought me a mango leti into the house when he noticed that I had no. all my party agreed that we want to eat here every time we're in town. so far the food is delicious. hot and fresh with very fast service. I love the dahl, the saag distributor and the naan. Moreover, the portion sizes are large enough to go a bag after filling up. they recommend eating here, they will not regret it! the people who work here take care of their restaurant and their customers. 10/10

This is the best Indian restaurant around Northbrook. Lunch special chef's special is a lot of food for a low price. Service is awesome and potions are big. 5.5/5
