Wok St Chow House - Northbridge

I love everything about this restaurant. The coconut rice is so delicious, I would be happy just eating that as a meal. The curries are amazing too! However, I can't understand the green bamboo dip used for the crackle - it's revolting. It tastes like puréed wet cardboard to me. Does anyone else feel the same way about it?

Some standout dishes included perfectly crispy pork crackling (just be cautious of the loud popping!), flavorful pork with five spice seasoning, and the highlight of the meal was the peanut parfait with salted caramel sauce. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant were excellent, although some cooling on the back deck would have been appreciated. The service was attentive and not intrusive.

The weekly specials elevate my rating by a full point. This is because it's the only time when you can dine here at a reasonable price. The regular menu entrees are excessively expensive for the taste and serving size. While the main dishes are inventive, fresh, and tasty, they are still on the smaller side. The interior is nicely decorated and the majority of the staff are friendly, although one particular member could benefit from loosening up a bit.

I have come several times to their special nights.Green curry and rice on Tuesdays for $10 and Pad thai Wednesdays for $10 BOTH ARE SO SO SO GOOD. Can not fault! It is a must try.I haven't had their regular menu yet but will definitely be coming back with friends to try! good work guys!

Really great atmosphere, food and service. Our waitress was very observant and friendly without being overbearing. We all ordered Pad Thai and it was delish. Will definitely return.  Also they serve free sparkling water!
