Sizzling Hut - Northampton

I recently ordered takeout from Sizzling Hut after driving past it numerous times without ever stopping in. Unfortunately, I now regret trying it. Despite their focus on grilled food, I found the food to be very unappetizing. The lamb chops were dry and tough, the peri peri chicken was also dry and hard to swallow without water, and the sheekh kebab was just okay. I also ordered a chicken fillet burger, which was more expensive than a similar sandwich at McDonald's but inferior in taste. Overall, I had a terrible experience and recommend avoiding this restaurant.

My friend purchased a 'Groupon Deal' for this establishment, thinking it was a restaurant, but it turned out to be more of a takeaway with limited seating. I would have preferred to dine at a proper restaurant, but didn't want to offend my friend. The food was supposed to be Indian, but it was quite different from traditional Indian cuisine. I found it strange that they had run out of poppadums. It seemed like we were supposed to go to the counter to order, as the staff didn't seem eager to serve us. In hindsight, I wouldn't have bothered going there unless I was extremely hungry and desperate for something to eat.
