Nick's Plaice - Northampton

The best fish and chips in Northampton are found here. The batter is light and crispy, and the fish is wonderfully fresh. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. My only suggestion is that they could be more environmentally friendly by not using separate boxes for each piece of fish.

Went in tonight for chippy tea ordered large fish and chips mushy peas the chips were ok peas very good but fish utter disappointment hardly any fish seemed too be more batter than fish expect decent fish when you’re paying over 6pounds

I had a wonderful meal of Chips and Steak and Kidney Pie. The chips were perfectly cooked and the pie was piping hot. I highly recommend this dish.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant to grab a takeaway lunch. I was impressed by the great quality of the fish and chips, which were also surprisingly affordable. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, enhancing the overall experience. Compared to KFC or McDonald's, the prices were cheaper and there were no unexpected ingredients. I highly recommend this place, and no, I was not paid to write this review.

Queued up today and saw that the vinegar on the counter was in an ex spray bottle hand sanitiser complete with label. Yuck. Avoid.
