Bidrage med feedbackVisiting from out of state for a fall vacation trip. After renting bikes from All Out Adventures, my wife and I worked up an appetite. We were suggested to try out The Roost. We were told there was a ramp and automatic doors which made the space accessible. We didn’t initially know where the accessible entrance was so I ended up having to step up with my rollator. It was very loud, and busy in there. Everyone from the folks working to the people waiting in line, everyone was so kind and cool. The atmosphere had a nice vibe. The only problem is it was very loud and sensory overwhelming. We had to go to the car to eat which wasn’t a problem. The food is outstanding. I got a mocha maple iced latte which was incredible. My wife got an iced coffee with vanilla. I got the gluten free waffle with fruit, and this butter squash with walnuts and cranberries side being offered. My wife ordered this breakfast sandwich which was her stepping outside her comfort zone. She ordered the Williston, she said it was absolutely delicious and makes her want to step more outside of her food comfort zone due to the amazing experience she had. We would highly recommend this place to anyone if we had the chance. Recommendations: If there isn’t a sign by the non-accessible entrance, would highly recommend adding one so folks know to go to the other door.
The quiche was only just okay and the salad was really disappointing. Under different circumstances I would have sent it back. The avocado was skimpy and with many brown spots and the tomatoes were bad. It seemed like they had been in a too cold refrigerator, maybe frozen? Tasteless and with a strange texture. The African Peanut soup was perfect and desserts were awesome.
I loved each and every item I got or tasted, the pastries we got safely home and are delicious! Had to save some for tomorrow.
Great fresh ingredient healthy food selections Service was a little slow and seating is crowded
I was visiting from Tampa, FL about 5 years ago and we stopped in while walking around town. 5 years later and I'm still talking about their coconut cake!! True confession: I had to buy a second slice to go because one was just not enough. Planning on stopping back by Northampton one day JUST for the cake!
