Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant is a hidden gem with the best service I have ever experienced. The food was delicious and came out quickly. It was the most beautiful dinner I have ever had. I felt compelled to write a review because it was such a great dining experience.
We went to this restaurant on a Saturday night during a long weekend and found it to be quite quiet, as many other places in the city were closed. The interior was simple and not very unique. It would have been nice to have some background music playing so that others' conversations wouldn't be the only thing we could hear. We ordered satay skewers, spring rolls, fried rice, mixed vegetables, and dim sims. The dim sims were the standout dish, very tasty. The rest of the food was okay, but compared to our local Chinese restaurant back in Perth, it lacked flavor. The lady and her son who served us were very attentive and friendly. Bringing your own alcohol is a great option. There is street parking available and a separate side street for easy pickup orders without going through the restaurant.
I was a bit hesitant at first since this restaurant didn't make it to the top 10 on Trip Advisor, but decided to give it a try anyway. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious meal and generous portions. They also offer a convenient takeout service in case you can't finish your food. The staff was very attentive and the overall dining experience was great value for money!
The staff was very attentive and helpful. the decor is very 1970s and a lack of music made the place very strange, as there was no atmosphere at all! definitiw recommend a takeout, but eating in was very quiet for a couple on their own faust
This is your old fashioned country town Chinese restaurant. 70's era decor, but an extensive menu right across the range of Chinese food. Generous helpings, prompt and friendly service at reasonable prices. Good food and good value.
