The Adderley Restaurant

There wasn't a lot of food options and the steak was tough. I inquired about where the steak came from and was told it was local, but the staff didn't provide any additional information. As someone who knows about meat, I had higher expectations.

I made a reservation for 8 people on February 10th through OpenTable for my dad's birthday. However, due to a change in numbers, I called the restaurant directly to adjust the reservation. Unfortunately, the restaurant claimed that they had no record of our booking. The service and cooperation in resolving this issue were very poor, with no solution offered or apology given. If I had shown up with only 7 people for the reservation, it would have been a disaster. The restaurant promised to call me back regarding the issue but never did, and my attempts to reach them went unanswered.

Beautiful bar and great potential. However, bar staff were missing for 15 minutes to order a drink this was sitting in front of our restaurant 7:30. The restaurant has no ambience at all, the food is absolutely tiny and I ordered a takeaway when I came home. Quality is okay, but prices are crazy. Paid £98 for two courses and two drinks. My partner wanted a cocktail, asked for menu and they had no one. The waiter rolled out of a small list and they explained they were in a pitcher only, who ordered pitchers when leaving for a romantic meal? It was very obvious that the waiting staff also had no experience, and no one seemed to help them. I eat in a lot of good quality restaurants both cheap and expensive and it doesn't matter to pay for quality, but I'm worried when the quality is bad and the price is massively crowded. Unfortunately, we will never bring back great potential. Address the restaurant appearance ambience, poorly trained waiting staff, price, cocktail drinks menu and you will do very safe! We were offered 20% of the bill, based on a complaint to the waitress who was a nice gesture. This price was better suited, but I still keep it expensive.

We were at Lea Marsden Hotel. When we were at our one-year stay, I wanted to book the other bar as thought it would be more child-friendly, but I realized this restaurant booked so went there, and so glad we did, fortunately our one year old was on his best behavior, but I could not believe how child-friendly they were. Even the food was delicious.

Lovely evening, good choice of menu at a reasonable price. Food well presented and service good, staff were very attentive. Would highly recommend .
