Bidrage med feedbackI love tommys! this sweet little restaurant offers a few vegan brunch items. my favorite is the vegan eier benny served with tofu. so delicious! could it eat so often
Cozy place in the lynn valley with seating in the interior and exterior area on the road. we ordered the 2 vegan options on the menu dish and benny. we were not blown away from both, but it was great to see solid vegan options, and the atmosphere and service was great. offered non-dairy milk for coffee/hot-Choc.
We tried the vegan smoked tofu benedict and the vegan guide. both dishes really hit the point when they have these icy brunch exercises, although texturally they are like night and day. the scramble was very tomaten and the tofu was very soft, border silkvery unusual for scrambles from our experience, a wide scream of the type of drier, chewier scrambles we used. we have always loved smoked tofu and it works particularly well in a benedikt. the creamy vegan hollandaise was perfect, although we wish that the tomato and spinat also sauteed. all in all, we would definitely go back and out of the city dwellers are even motivated to make the benedikt home. it is a small place with many street parking places and a really cozy atmosphere; when we called ahead, they said there is rarely a waiting time and if so, that it would not be more than half an hour.
I have to be honest and say that the vegan food at this restaurant did not impress me. The tofu in the Benny dish was bland and undercooked, the English muffin lacked any spread, the salad was dry, and the potatoes were cold. However, it was good to see some vegan options on the menu. It wouldn't have taken much effort to improve the taste of their vegan dishes, but it seemed like they didn't put much thought into it. I would still go to this restaurant if I were dining with non-vegan friends for breakfast, but it wouldn't be my top choice.
There are a few vegan menu options available and the food and service are consistently excellent.
