Bidrage med feedbackThe food here is pretty good and I’ve ordered from them many times, but one day ordered their chicken noodle soup and had a horrible allergic reaction (I don’t have “known” allergies). When calling them to ask what was in the broth for spices she said they don’t put spice in it and don’t have a spicy chicken noodle soup (they thought I was calling to place a new order), I tried to clarify that I mean how do they season it, I was currently eating their chicken noodle soup and that I was having an allergic reaction and just needed to know what they used to flavour the broth, she passed me over to a man who said if I have an allergy then I shouldn’t order their food. I politely asked again if could just find out because it could be an emergency, he said the chef is not in (yet they’ve been open for 2 hours), I asked if they could call me back once they are in- and he hung up the phone. It’s really unfortunate that they chose to interact this way, because the food is usually good here, but this type of customer service, especially when it could be an emergency is not okay.
This restaurant is amazing. The food is always delicious. Prices have increased after COVID, but that's been the case everywhere. It's disheartening to see negative reviews about the owner's service. In my experience, she has always been fantastic to both me and my wife. We are treated like family by the owner. Thank you for the delicious food and excellent service.
All part of the adventure ?I loved the walk there and back from my parking spot. The neighborhood was really nice. I even found an important present, and one for me ? I highly suggest the magazine store a few blocks up.When it came to the food.... there were a few things I enjoyed ? and like I said, the walk was lovely.Honestly, I kindly asked for no cilantro and the noodles and meat were covered, the meat tasted stale, and the broth did not have peanut sauce but possibly fresh crushed peanuts... I should also know better than to order calamari from a pho place ?The smoothie was pretty good and the broth (minus chunky bits) was ok, even if not what I thought it was going to be.I may never go back, but I don't think I'll forget it ????
My friend and I were the only customers at the restaurant during dinner time yesterday. We were seated and served by a middle-aged lady with a rude demeanor who only provided us with one menu, despite us sitting across from each other. We were immediately taken aback by her unfriendly and unwelcoming attitude. To our surprise, she gave us only one of each utensil even though there were two of us. It was a red flag for sure. We ordered grilled pork with rice and grilled pork with noodles, both of which came with rolls that were subpar compared to the Vietnamese rolls we are used to. The meat seemed to be of poor quality and may not have even been pork. My friend even mentioned that his noodles tasted off. When I asked for a Vietnamese coffee, the lady rudely claimed it was too strong for me. Despite my friend's protest that I drink plenty of coffee, she refused to serve it to me. We both felt unwelcome and sensed racism in her attitude towards us. The service was terrible and the food was even worse. The lady's behavior was one of the worst we have ever experienced from a server. We contemplated leaving a small tip, but ultimately decided against it. We have no intention of returning to this establishment with its unfriendly and unpleasant server. After reading other negative reviews, it seems that this server's attitude will not change. It is concerning that most of the negative reviews seem to be from non-Vietnamese customers, indicating a potential issue with racism.
I am giving this restaurant 1 star. I was thrilled to discover a pho place that I enjoyed, but today I found a straight hair in my noodles. The woman working there looked at my curly hair and gave me a disrespectful look. I received no apology, just pure attitude, as if I don't come in and tip over 20% every time. I don't expect perfect service, but if there's a mistake, own up to it.
