Bidrage med feedbackWe waited and waited and waited to be served for drinks. the waitress had no knowledge of drinks menu or wine selection. the Entree plates were not deleted until the waiter main dishes brought along and unfortunately there was no place on the table. well, we were ready to eat and no cutlery. I had to ask and after 5 minutes waiting time went to the kitchen on the look for cutlery. it finally came. a knife and a spoon to eat a pasta dish! interesting choice. I asked about cracked pfeffer and a pfefferwolf was laid next to my knife and spoon. no service. if they don't pour the wine out of the bottle into our glasses, I don't suppose they crack the pfeffer for us. service? I wonder why this restaurant does not consider this important part of the culinary experience? although eating was very good, we will not return and recommend farina. I'm sorry we came back after we haven't been there for a few years. dined 28 nov 2022.
I was very unimpressed with the service that was extended to our group of 6. we ordered drinks after we had made a waitress aware. it took eternity to deliver the drinks and they were wrong. our waitress was very pleasant and polite. the lady who makes the drinks was an abrupt, curly woman. (why work these people in the hospitality) several cocktails ordered we were told that they did not have the ingredients we ordered, they said they were out, be the only thing that went right. eating was very nice, so a big yes for the quality of food. not sure how we should eat the net without cutlery. the waiting staff was not in the position to impress. I noticed that a blonde waitress was very attentive and cared for her guests. I asked her if we could order the net, as our waitress talked to the other waitress. I was ready to go as I actually felt as if we were on a string-set-up TV program, how to get customers or something like that. we have been supplied drinks that should go to the next table, remove discs left on the table while net were delivered and only a really disorganized staff. the waiter who cleaned the table next to us, sprayed me with his spray bottle while I cleaned the table so that I was finished with this restaurant. what a sweat this restaurant is. oh and I gave our waitress $50 in cash as I said the owners hold the tips. I felt that I had to make her trust in her role because of her inexperience. not paying their workers their tips is shameful. would I ever return? never. it is a shame, as the food quality is excellent. it will run clearly by employees without instruction and incentive to offer the guests a bit of quality. ps, don't blame covid. I wanted to destroy this, but you should know how bad the service is in this restaurant. 1. if the guests sit on the table, they ask if they want a drink. they serve them quickly. 2. they have happy personal, not grievous. 3. the employees with jobs must be terminated as they ruin their business. 4. Our waitress was beautiful, simply inexperienced and this is completely in order, as she was very pleasant and polite. 5. the lady who makes the drinks was a grim woman who must learn how to smile and be pleasant. 6. word of mouth in social circles is huge. 7. her chef and her associates do a great job, 10/10. 8. Their bathroom was very dirty. 9. hallway, which leads to bathroom, is full of müll and filthy. 10. after the first 40 minutes wait for a service, I checked whether the cooks garden was open and it was not, otherwise we would all have left this restaurant. if they want to repeat customers, they care about them, have more attentiveness, ask them to smile. according to my opinion, this restaurant is under new management, as I have heard from other friends that they were not satisfied with the level of the service. I can honestly say it's the worst I've ever met. the service was regrettable and not even worthy of a star. before covid was the service excellent.
I had already taken away before that was great. I don't suggest eating. they'll stay calm. the food itself was great, but the service was embarrassing. I'm sorry that the employees who are not trained are in the industry. we had to ask for drinks several times. we had to ask for order. we had to ask where our drinks were when they did not arrive. we had to ask for tellers and cutlery. there is no salt and pepper. we had to ask for cheese on pasta. my gas was sprayed by a coworker who cleaned the next table, by cleaning agent. he wasn't happy. our group of 6 is not coming back.
After several years of trying, I was disappointed by my experience at this restaurant. They served mineral water without glasses and took orders, but then did not bring the food out all at once. The ribs were dry and had a rancid smell that made it hard to believe someone could cook them without feeling ill. The chicken was also dry and seemed to have been reheated. I will not be returning.
After the long protracted time out caused by COVID we decided to go out and dine with our daughter and her partner. We have never been to Farinas. We are pleased to say we were pleasantly surprised with the high level of service, especially from...the waitress, Belle. The service was very efficient accompanied by the ability to make us feel welcome and comfortable.
