I am a little bias, but apart from Chirton Club, the service in the Alexander is next to none. Sports, Pool,Darts, and all better prices than most pubs, and bars. Was very busy with the Match, but the service was great, and nobody had a long wait, in fact we were being served faster than we could drink. Well Done David, Tania, and Sharon. And thanks to Christine Dave for coming back and saving the Pub, after the lovely Wendy David Retired xx

Love the pub and the staff/service is great but the smokers spoil it. They stand right by the doors and the place ends up stinking of cigarettes, such a shame. Everything else is great though, well worth a visit.

I always find this a very friendly Pub and Saturday night is usually Karaoke night and you can 'sing along 'or 'sing alone '. Either way its a huge fun night out ...... and a pint of John Smiths at just £2.50 is worth singing about too
