Bidrage med feedbackThe first time here and this place is enchanting and delicious! I ordered the capri and my friend ordered the Cuban both so delicious. omg the brot! the owner was so sweet, he took a moment to chat with us and gave us a croissant to try while we waited for our sandwiches!
Love, love, love it here! my wife and I stopped for the first time and enjoyed every single article we tried. Capri sandwich, pariser sandwich, quiche, croissants (chocolate, rosin and flat.) and the two men were the most friendly men of all time. I was only once in France and felt hated. what we experienced at piknik was as we hoped it would be. we love it here.
Exquisit! my man and I came here before a trip to the airport pure and the service was wonderful friendly, and that was very fast eating. we had a breakfast sandwich (one on croissant and one on baguette) and everyone was lovely! we had to pamper in an espresso and some baked, we have a chocolate croissant and a kind of beerente, and oh my so amazing, I will be back for more. this is the perfect small hole in the wall sandwich shop they only need to visit and support by trying everything!
This place is amazing. They have the best soup I've had in YEARS!! I've been there 3 or 4 times in as many weeks and each time it was phenomenal. Little space, barely big enough for a few diners and patrons, but that's because the money is being spent on the food. They have the best seafood soup I've ever eaten, hands down. Full of mussels, fish, clams, shrimp, scallops and crab, it's swimming in a delicious broth with onions, celery, carrots, potatoes and sweet potatoes. It's almost impossible to take a spoonful of soup without seafood in it. They also make a great sweet potato soup, and I haven't had a chance to try others they might have, but I can't wait based on what I've eaten so far. All their sandwiches are served on home made, house baked baguettes and croissants and they are just as good as you think. I've seen several customers just buy a baguette with some butter and jam. Flaky croissants--flaky. The Pesto chicken with arugula and the Nicoise sandwich are excellent. The Italian was stuffed with meat and excellent. The turkey was moist and excellent. The traditional jambon beurre was glorious. They make delicious quiches in a house made tart crust. The Quiche Lorraine is good as breakfast or lunch (I had mine with a salad). Their baked desserts, some of which which seem to rotate daily, are just sinfully good. Right now I'm digging into an almond paste filled pear tart sprinkled with sliced almonds. Their other tarts and mousses are similarly delicious. It's just not ordinary to find this level of French bistro love in this part of PBC. The owners Chris and Carol, along with Francis, are such lovely people who genuinely love making their patrons feel well loved and well fed. I must warn you, this isn't necessarily the cheapest place--a bill for 2 can quickly get above $40 for soup and sandwiches. But I absolutely guarantee you will be fully satisfied with the freshness and taste of your purchase. You'll be full, too, but not so full you'll want to skip dessert, which is a great thing here. To the guy I didn't know who said he used to be a sous chef and recommended this place while we were chatting in the pool store, I thank you.
Great sandwiches on their fantastic baguette. They also have great quiche and pastries. Most important are the fresh croissants and pain au chocolat made several times daily.
