Bure River Cottage - North Norfolk

Absolutely delicious meal. The baked coconut and chilli Cromer crab starter was soooo good! Definitely recommend that one! Main meals were excellent and the vegetable sides accompanying were really really lovely too! We ate here for our tenth-anniversary meal with our two small children while camping locally for the weekend. There is no children's menu, but they can do fish goujons with chips, or various other options adapted from the adults' menu. The quality of the kids meals was great, although my two are going through a fussy stage so didn't eat much unfortunately. There was no good reason for this though, because my husband and I tried their meals and it was very good. We'd definitely return next time we're in the area!

Another fabulous meal! Have been here for my birthday three years running and every experience has been top-notch. Tonight I had the scallops followed by halibut with brown shrimp, perfectly cooked and with the usual vegetables/potatoes to share. Husband had tiger prawns followed by sea bass, and we shared the white chocolate cheesecake. Amazing food at reasonable prices. Oh and service from a young staff was delightful! Hopefully will go back later in the summer for our anniversary

Another wonderful meal good to be back. Friendly service from the ladies and amazing food. Hope to be back next year. Something to look forward to.

What a find, delicious fish, starter goujons and monk fish for main and amazing variety of fresh vegetables and desserts to die for the most amazing salted caramel ice cream and vanilla and sorbets Loved the waitressing staff who were polite and attentive without being intrusive, the owner and chef popped her head out to say hello great venue modern decor
