Universe Haitian Take Out - North Miami

Good food. One of the few Thai restaurants I know takes map. It's a to-go restaurant if you want a quick bite. Looks like they're under construction now.

The food used here to be good, but not so much. I use to drive all from sunrise for their Mac n cheese, but now it's not good. It is dry without taste.

It needs a Haitian to really tell you how good or bad the food is. And frankly, this is by far one of the best I found here. Remember my mother's cooking. I was initially skeptical because some of the review, but there was an attempt to eat over. And I'm definitely glad I ordered. I got the turkey with rice. It was accompanied by a side salad and fried plantains. Very satisfied with my order

I would give 5 stars for the fact that the place is updated, the food is in the front behind a clear counter, and they take credit/debit cards. So It's very fast to order food and to get it. But the taste or quality of the food is not always great. If they hire better cooks, they can get five stars!
