Paquito's - North Miami Beach

We took my 12 month old out to celebrate his birthday and it turned out to be a nightmare. They were not family friendly at all. We were never called for our table and when we inquired we were told we were not on the list. Even though everyone noticed us with the baby. The hostess just kept walking by us. When we attempted to complain we learned that the hostess was in fact the owner. I don't know if it is because we are BLACK, but she made no effort to seat us. We ended up leaving.

I like the atmosphere and the bar area where you can dance and drink. Yet; the prices are very high for plain Mexican food and nothing gourmet. I am still trying to find a really great Mexican place .They do have really good fajitas.

The atmosphere and the food here can't be beat. Good sized portions and delicious food make this a family favorite of ours. Highly recommended.
