Bidrage med feedbackAfter only living in Brigg for three months, I was pleasantly surprised to discover Siam Smile. I visited for lunch on a Thursday with a friend and was impressed by the authentic Thai cuisine offered in a traditional pub setting. The food was freshly cooked to order and incredibly delicious. The lunchtime deal of £10 for two courses and a beer was fantastic value. I also noticed that the English dishes looked equally appetizing. I will definitely be coming back to Siam Smile in the future.
This restaurant in Brigg may not be the first place that comes to mind for a meal, but it definitely should be. The Siam Smile Thai food is delicious, and we have visited a few times and plan to go back soon. The staff are friendly and the food is fantastic. Their special offer of a two-course Thai meal and a beer for £10 is great value. We have heard that their Steak Night on Wednesdays is also excellent. If you enjoy Thai food, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. (Apologies for the second picture, we dug in before remembering to take a photo!)
I recently had a fantastic dining experience at this Thai restaurant. The food was delicious and authentic, with great attention to preparation and presentation. The value for money was exceptional. The restaurant itself had a lovely and friendly atmosphere, with a nice ambiance. After finishing our meal, we explored the adjoining bar area, which was also pleasant with a pool table and friendly locals. The bar had cheap prices and the hosts were great. Overall, I had a wonderful night and am looking forward to returning for their recommended Sunday dinners. It was definitely worth the visit from Yorkshire.
Siam Smile produces authentic Thai and English meals at superb prices. Since opening up originally at the White Hart and now at the Exchange Coach House, they have become our go to for a meal out in Brigg. Ask for authentic Thai if you want the food to be hotter than is usually served for the English palate. Dogs welcome. The only downside is that the place is a little run-down and the bar area and toilets need a makeover.
After I only lived in Brigg for 3 months, I can be forgiven because I don't know about Siam Smile. What a wonderful discovery! On Thursday noon with a friend. The place is a typical, old-fashioned pub, but the food is very definitely NOT pub...food. It is amazingly authentic Thai food, freshly cooked to order. Amazing value at £10 for 2 courses plus a bottle of beer. The English food looked just as delicious. Will definitely return.
