We have been loyal patrons of Diya Dihara for the past 25 years, using it as our regular meeting spot for family and friends when in Sri Lanka. However, we were extremely disappointed with the state of the restaurant. The venue was filthy, to the point where I refused to use the restroom and questioned the cleanliness of the kitchen. The staff seemed more concerned with looking busy than actually cleaning. It's a shame to see such potential wasted in a beautiful location. Unfortunately, our days of support for this restaurant have come to an end.

One of the dodgiest places and not clean. The staff is very judgemental and disrespectful, especially towards women. Do not recommend.

We went there for a short visit after a long travel. It was a very nice and peacefull place where you can sit for hours and look over the beautiful Lake og drink amazing pinapple juice.

Best-est and finest in the town. Most relaxing place to go after having a long day. A chill beer which will be accompanied by their signature dish is absolutely legit. In addition the view makes it more mesmerizing. When it comes to the staff, they are so friendly. The place gets so crowded within the time but the staff will never leave you out there even they get so busy. If you ever go there I would recommend you to try their signature dish. Highly approved.
