Food drinks: We came today, to celebrate my forthcoming big birthday, there were 6 of us eating carvery, 6 having afternoon tea, The afternoon tea , stand was for 3 people so with probably 3 rounds of sandwiches, a few mini cake bites 3 scones ,jam ,clotted cream, The pots of tea we had to ask for and only had one tea bag in for a big pot, had to ask for more tea bags, no milk came out, had to ask for that, now for the x2 of above was £90 that was ridiculous I’m sorry but one stand should’ve been for 2 people not 3, very disappointing, don’t normally complain but bit of a downer for a birthday treat,

Had my 50th birthday party up in the function rooms. The staff were amazing, really helpful and very relaxed. The rooms were great and I had a great night, along with 120 guests. Some people stayed at the hotel and were happy with the accommodation. There is loads of parking in the council car park right next door to the property and this has no parking restrictions on Sunday so perfect for my Saturday night party.
