The Brasserie At Humber Royal

Looks somewhat dated from the outside, but I think that adds to the charm of the place. Once interiors and service areas are very nice and comfortable. we were on the first stage that looked over the garden area. the upper etagens saw balcony with views of the golf course.

We have been in the humber every time we have visited family in the last ten years, our rooms were always clean, comfortable and all the staff were nice. breakfast and dinner were fabulous, very appreciated room service so we could enjoy the evening sun on the balcony.

We arrived at the restaurant after booking a table in advance. However, when we arrived, there was no table ready for us and the staff seemed surprised that we had shown up, even though we were on their bookings list. We had to wait some time for a table to be prepared and for a manager to be located and consulted. It took a while for our order to be taken, but once it arrived, the Roast Sunday Lunch we ordered was very tasty. I tried to get the attention of one of the servers by raising my hand three times, but I received no response. Another patron who had been waiting for a drink at the bar also decided to take a seat after waiting a long time for service. Despite wanting a dessert, no one came to check on us during the meal to see if we wanted another drink or dessert. Eventually, I gave up and decided not to order one. Interestingly, a group that was leaving as we were eating complained to the Chef about the poor service, even though they enjoyed the food. It seems like they had a similar experience to ours.
