Bangor Kebab House - North Down

I haven't visited this restaurant in a while and I don't plan on returning. It used to be a good takeaway when Shakeel was in charge. The two employees who served me seemed inexperienced and lacked personality, although one of them did say thank you. The kebab on chips was disappointing, and I'm relieved I didn't order anything larger. The pakora was overcooked and not appetizing, and the doner meat was chopped into small burnt pieces. It shouldn't be that hard to get it right.

I ordered a 12-inch pizza and a mixed kebab for delivery with a promised maximum wait time of 40 minutes. However, my order arrived over an hour and 10 minutes later, leaving me and my friend starving. Upon opening the large pizza box, we were disappointed to find a tiny, cold, and chewy pizza inside. I called to complain about the pizza and was offered a free starter by the owner as compensation. When I insisted on receiving the 12-inch pizza I had paid for, the owner rudely suggested I order a smaller size next time and hung up on me. This lack of customer service is apparently common based on other reviews, so I would recommend dining elsewhere to avoid a similar experience. Save your money and choose a different restaurant.

I ordered a meal from this restaurant and one of the dishes was not prepared correctly. I called to inform them about the mistake and was told they would correct it. After arguing with them about the error and them trying to attribute it to asking for extra sauce, I waited for them to fix the problem but nothing happened. I called again to let them know our food had gotten cold, but the person on the phone rudely hung up on me. Our family's takeaway night was ruined by this level of rudeness and lack of customer service. It is unacceptable for them to use a simple request for extra sauce as an excuse for ruining a £25 meal.

Best kebab we have had in ages, will definitely order again.

Went into store to order take away face to face for 3 adults. All the individual orders were wrong. I ordered onion bhajis for starters they were so spicy I couldn't eat mine. I phoned to inform them how wrong the order was but I really wasn't understood, all I got was this is our usual mix for bhaji, this is rubbish, I have eaten from there many times never had spicy bhajis. In all honesty the orders are always wrong but usually in a small way, tonight was the last time I will be using their services!!!
