The Charlton Inn - North Dorset

Unfortunately, the closed roads made it a bit difficult to get to the restaurant. However, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shower exceeded expectations. I would rate the rooms, service, and location all a 5 out of 5. A highlight of the hotel is its peaceful atmosphere.

Excellent Sunday roast. Spoilt slightly by the exorbitant cost of a pint of lime and soda which almost the same price as the pint of Tanglefoot. Service: 5 Location: 4

Visited the Charlton for an evening meal. Vast choice at very reasonable prices. Excellent food and generous portions. Definitely will be coming back!

Clean and comfortable rooms in separate building from the pub, so less possibility of noise. Fenced-in garden, which is great for my dogs and helpful and thoughtful staff. Also, very good value. I will stay here again when in the area. Food drinks: No breakfast, but several cafes in town. Evening meal was very tasty. Good pint of Badger's Tanglefoot. Rooms: 5
