Emperor's Court - North Devon

I came for a week to Ilfracombe for a holiday with my family. Was excited to know there’s Chinese food in town! Did not disappoint. Came with the family and had a feast. They open three times a week so we were lucky to be in town the days they were open. So the next day they were open, we called in for takeaway and tried other food on their menu! Food was flavorful for our Asian tastebuds! We ordered Crispy Sweet Sour Beef (must try! , Mee Goreng (husbands fav as it was spicy to his liking , Yong Chow Fried Rice with veggie (son’s favorite , Roast Duck Wrap (absolutely delicious , Kung Po Chicken (spicy and tasty , Prawn Tempura and Singapore Meehoon. Also ordered noodles and steamed rice to eat with the other dishes. A great mix. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Will definitely come back if ever in town again. Thanks for the lovely meals! Xx

So impressed. Booked yesterday for today. We had a superb meal served by very friendly ladies. Had a marvellous evening. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Thank you All for a memorable evening.

Phoned about 7.30 to place order for takeaway. We were told they weren’t interested in taking any more orders today. No great surprise this is the general standard of service to be expected in Ilfracombe. I wouldn’t advise anyone to bother coming here ever.

Expensive, Dry, Tasteless! Last evening on holiday went to get a cheeky Chinese! After seeing the price for 4 dishes come to £35! I thought this vest be Michelin star! But when I got home. Was tasteless and dry! Would not recommend

Very nice food, fresh vegetables and dishes were hot. Sweet and sour Hong Kong style dish was lovely. Yueng chow chow mein was also very nice.
