Jack Nicklaus Golden Bear Grill

We ate breakfast here before our flight. I ate the breakfast scramble with scrambled eggs, smoked bacon, potatoes and a biscuit, served with butter and jelly. My husband had a 3 egg omelete with a biscuit. Both meals were delicious and the service was very good. We were pleasantly surprised at the food, and the price, $26 for both meals, a bargain for any airport! I highly recommend this place.?

Sat down, patiently waited to order, burger, no cheese, fries. 25 minutes later burger thrown down in a rush by another server. With cheese. Scraped off, didn’t make a deal out of it.Didn’t see waiter again until after an hour I asked for a manager who instead of addressing my concern about the wait time chose to menace me about “if I was missing something” finally got check and left after 3 other tables with different servers had come and gone.Food wasn’t bad. Service is a hit or miss. My server had an attitude about something and was a miss. They have plenty of people working, he wasn’t covering more than 4 tables.Obviously overall a mismanaged restaurant and really did not care for the attempt by a manager to flip my problem onto me.

VERY slow service, overpriced,would not recommend. Staff stood around talking most of the time. Unfortunate because it appeared to be a good place to eat while waiting to board our plane.

I stopped by before my flight and was seated at a table for one. I watched several people walk in after me and was served water soon after they sat down while I waited. I waited over 15 minutes before I decided to leave and go to CHARLESTON Beer works in A terminal. I understand I was given a different waitress and different service and attitude but it is the same restaurant. Based on other reviews I guess it was a blessing that I didn’t eat there.Service at Charleston Beer Works was quicker and I got a margarita within the 5 minutes I sat down.17 July 2023 around 250pm

I have never reviewed a restaurant in an airport before but the surprisingly delicious meal we had here prompted me to do so. We had time before our flight for a sit-down mid- afternoon meal and this is the only place at CHS for that. The hostess sat us right away taking care to find a table that worked for my husband who uses a walker. The food is not fine dining but was well prepared and very tasty. I had the black bean burger and the herb French fries, our son the turkey burger, our granddaughter the chicken wrap and my husband the Caprese salad. Each one was just terrific. Our waitress was attentive and the food came out fast but we weren't rushed at all to leave. We were very pleasantly surprised to have such a good meal in an unexpected location.
