Kozy Kitchen - North Bend

Finally, I received my breakfast after all the other 8 people I was with were done eating. It was an Italian sausage omelet (they had steak and eggs or something more complicated). My friends had to wait for me to eat and there was no discount on the bill. Not again, didn't even treat someone right. Go to Dishners around the corner on Broadway in North Bend!!! Ordered the big Mama and was super disappointed and upset that I paid $28.00 for two orders that had NO flavor, nasty biscuits with no flavor and NO gravy, under done over easy eggs, soft bland hash browns and a sausage patty that was the only edible thing on the plate. Not at all how it was advertised or looked in their menu!!!! Beware! We got the order to go that came with no fork, spork, knife, etc... by the time we got back to our motel room we just threw it away. Will never waste our money there again. UPDATE: I ate at Kozy Kitchen yesterday, and I wanted to update my review. I met up with a young couple and their two children, ages 2 and 11. We ordered a variety of items, and everyone cleaned their plates except for me. The food was delicious, but my appetite is no match for the huge servings they offer. Mine was a simple bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich, but it was huge and absolutely delicious. There was so much bacon on it, that the slices were hanging out a good 2 inches from both sides of the bread. And the side order of fries was massive ! The staff were wonderfully solicitous and engaging. At one point, when both of the children had tried and failed at the toy pick up machine, the owner brought a selection of small squishy toys to the table and let each of them choose one to keep. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and never seem to want to rush us despite there being quite a crowd at lunch time. We spent two of the most delightful hours together, and are very much looking forward to our next meet-up there. The food has always been good and the staff very helpful and kind, but yesterday they really outdid themselves! I highly recommend this amazing local gem of a restaurant! I love everything about Kozy Kitchen, from the friendly laid-back staff to the delicious food. My favorite meals are their breakfasts and their wonderful liver and onion dinner. I know a lot of people do not like liver. And, even for those of us who love it, finding a place that does a good job cooking it is rare. This place does it perfectly! Server Rosie the night we were there was so sweet and our server next morning for the breakfast we came was also great! Our whole food was amazing!
