Freshii - North Bay

I very rarely give all the stars but this location deserves more because the staff on the day we visited were outstanding. The food they made was incredibly good as well and I have had Freshii food at downtown locations in Toronto and Mississauga, however this was different. We ordered a Umamii salad for myself, a Spicy Lemongrass soup for the Mrs and the kids weren’t hungry but they ordered a Green smoothie. The Umamii was made delicious and perhaps the way corporate wanted to be made. The flavour, the way presented and the perfect blend of dressing and all the other fixins were I. Perfect harmony. The Lemon Grass soups was the correct temperature and in spice level. The vegetables and noodles had again blended well. The smoothie came very good as well. About the service the Caucasian girl who took out order and made our order was very pleasant and happy to be there. The other Indian looking girl was on a break and was having a meal as it was late Sunday afternoon and no guests in the restaurant other than us. When we reached our table we realized that we didn’t pick up the straws and one of the cutlery. Upon reaching there realizing that one of the items not stocked waited for the girl to finish making stuff for the other customer who had just walked for a takeout order. The Indian girl walked away from her meal and got us what we needed. Without asking her to do anything she was paying attention to her customers while on a break! Then the the girl who served us comes around after a few minutes apologized for the missing things and asked us if everything was OK and if there was something she could do. She was so friendly. Both of them impressed us!! From a fast food type store this was incredible!

This place has really grown on me. I'm one of the those freaks that like one thing and always picks the same thing and never tries something new. But this honestly the first place I really LOVEEE trying new bowls and am excited to try out a few things! Also, if you don't like spicy food ask them to mix the teriyaki sauce with it.

Great food, friendly staff. Soup is wonderful. Hard to find in a pod mall tucked away but worth the visit. Order online for pickup. Only (no) beef is that the mushrooms are incredibly salty. Will discuss with the terrific management.

I'm so happy to find a restaurant where there are many vegetarian and vegan options. I ordered a teriyaki bowl, and at first I thought it was pricey, but for 10$ I got so much food. It was easily 2 meals worth for me. And it was as the name suggests: fresh. I will definitely be coming back here. This vegetarian is very happy.
